you can eat candy off the ground that strangers throw out of cars at a 4th of July parade. (and you put the whole piece in your mouth before dad can catch you)

your cousins (who seem to only weigh twice what I do) hold you for over an hour at the beach in SF, just so you dont get your feet or pants wet and get cold.

you get to mow down your upteenth chocolate covered chocolate cupcake with sprinkles (and of course mom makes you wear the full body bib)

IT MUST BE SUMMER WHEN

you can get all of your friends and cousins together at the zoo for a good time......all while your parents are at work.

your cousins watch you shrivel up outside like a raisin in 109 degree heat while mom and dad are inside drinking cold beers.
